The square reader isn't working

Hello, I am having issues with my square credit card reader. It is not working properly, it does not read the card. This makes me have to manually enter card information for my clients. I have gotten a bad review for this, because I was making my customer uncomfortable. If you know how to fix this, please tell me why. I have 2 of them and none of them work.

If you haven't already, I recommend trying the steps in our Support Center Article Square Magstripe Reader Troubleshooting.  Typically these steps get readers up and running again. 

 

If you're still having trouble, we offer a limited 6 month warranty for these readers. You can start a warranty here

 

If you're outside the warranty window you can order another reader from our Online Shop
