Hi, guys!
We're selling an item through a payment link but are also accepting checks, so we need to adjust our stock to reflect these off-the-grid sales. I know how to adjust stock counts on Square, but how do I record the change as sales? That is, if we sell three items without using Square, how do we adjust our stock count in a way that will mark lowered stock count as sales? There doesn't seem to be a stock action for sales made outside of Square.
Thanks!

This I have been doing in my Accounting Software.
For example say I Use Quickbooks, I run my Purchase Orders through QBs for inventory etc. So QuickBooks knows how much inventory I should have. Square shows the same inventory Levels, and so do my off Square Inventory levels. Each night I import my Square sales to QuickBooks and my Out of Square Sales. Quick books sees this as a Sale for both retail and my online stores. After inventory is reduced in Quckbooks I export this level and reimport these levels to my online out of square and to my Square levelsof inventory.
Since Square is not an accounting package there is no way to see or adjust for these types of sales in square. Square is just for reporting what items are sold using Square, where as Accounting software is able to account for all sales from multiple sources.
