Google Calendar Sync not working with new Appointments Plus tier
I just switched over to Appointments Plus (have been using the free option for the past 2 years) and the google calendar sync feature stopped working. Please advise how to get this corrected. Thank you!

Same! I was able to re-sync my calendar, but now, my availability isn't showing correctly. When I book online as a client, it's showing I don't have any openings when I do. I also upgraded today to Square Plus. Also, my online booking page isn't showing properly. For example, only my phone number is showing in the appointments "services list" when I also have location selected to show.

It appears that changing the subscription deleted the calendar sync that was set up - so I was able to re-sync them following these instructions: https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5387-sync-your-personal-calendar-with-square-appointments

So Square thought it would be a great idea to remove that feature and make you pay for it under the new Subscription option they implemented yesterday. They just lost a customer in me by doing this. I've recently started having issues with Square Appointments out of nowhere and now one simple feature like that can make a big difference in my schedule due to having multiple platforms so I'm out.

I am a small one person salon that is not that crazy busy but I do have a crazy busy life and having the ability to have my calendar synced across square and Google was great for scheduling, personal and business appointments quickly. But because I did not want to pay $30 a month that really I don't need any of the extra other than the syncing of the calendars is a real bummer. So I am now considering looking for another appointment booking payment app. I've been with square for almost 5 years and this is really disappointing, especially since I was paying for their marketing package and I believe some other stuff but now they're wanting an additional on top of that. Just to be able to see my appointments across multiple calendars........

Grrrr!!!! Square has been the PERFECT scheduling service ( other than the lack of group class options ) but now you have to be a "plus" subscriber to have the appointments confirmed?? Now this thread is saying that its not syncing to google calendar???? Bad Bad Bad moves Square!

I echo some of the last commenters on this thread. I used appointments for our art studio and we host birthday parties and special events where we need to close out booking for the public, so the calendar sync was awesome because I just had to sync a calendar to block out the studio during a certain time, but now it's a plus feature and the only one i really need, although the confirmation of appointments would be nice too. I am a bit perturbed, enough to figure out a work around with another service.

Add my voice to the chorus. I am not just upset that the feature was paywalled, but that it was without any warning. I checked my mails for indications I was going to lose this feature and found no warning. But a couple mails from double booked, angry clients clued me in sure enough.
I understand adding features and putting them behind a paid tier. But removing free functionality and putting it behind a paywall, and without warning, is infuriating. I am also a one-person business, so this feature now being $360/year is more than difficult to stomach. WHY, Square??
