Shipping isn't being charged

I have tried everything I can think of to have shipping charged on my website. I have created the profile and made sure my tax rates are correct. Can someone help me with setting up shipping?

  1. Verify Your Shipping Profile – Go to Square Online > Fulfillment > Shipping and ensure that your rates are active and correctly assigned.
  2. Check Individual Item Settings – Make sure each product is set to require shipping and isn’t marked for pickup or local delivery only.
  3. Test Different Locations – If you have location-based shipping rates, confirm that the correct rates apply to the regions you’re shipping to.
  4. Review Free Shipping Triggers – Check if any promotions, order minimums, or discounts are unintentionally removing the shipping charge.
  5. Test a Checkout – Try placing a test order to see if the issue persists.

 

If shipping still isn’t being charged, could you share screenshots of your shipping profile setup and any error messages you’re seeing? That might help pinpoint the issue faster!

Try the below suggestions and see if they help. 

Product Fulfillment: Head to your item list in Square Online and make sure "Shipping" is selected as the fulfillment method for any products you want to charge shipping on.

Shipping Rate Settings: Go to your Square Online settings, then select "Fulfillment" and click "Shipping." Here, you can set up different shipping profiles with specific rates based on location or weight. Also, be sure to check that you haven’t accidentally set all shipping rates to “free.”

Checkout Address Requirement: Make sure your checkout settings are configured so that customers are prompted to enter a delivery address before they can complete their purchase
