Hi folks! I'm not finding an answer, so maybe this is not a feature?
Are emails automatically sent to customers when their order is marked "in progress" and/or when their order is "shipped"? I could have sworn this was a feature but I'm not finding where the settings for it might be.
If yes, is there a way to edit the message that is sent?
I do see the Message feature, but I only have access to the 30 day trial.
I could probably just email a customer at the provided address that their order has been shipped.

Your customers definitely get an email once their order is completed, either when you generate the shipping label (Order Shipped) or mark it as complete for pickup orders (Order Prepared). Your customer will also get an order confirmation at time of purchase. I don't believe there is an email generated for when you start to work on the order.
Email communications can be edited on your website:
Dashboard -> Online -> Communication -> Email and Text Alerts. Click the ••• to the right of each email you want to edit.
