Notifications for Online Orders

Need my managers to be able to see notifications in order to check online orders. How do I do that without enabling all options?

Notifications for new online orders can only be sent via email at this time. To make sure your managers receive them, you’ll need to add their email addresses under Square Online Settings.

In app alerts. They do not need emails or printed order tickets.

The problem is that now everyone who needs to full fill online orders get all of the emails, including payroll, and bank deposits. this is an issue. Please fix this, not to mention it is clogging up their inboxes.

@NAHs, I understand. I might actually recommend actually posting your feedback and idea on our Ideate platform. Here sellers are able to post and discuss new ideas and improvements to Square products and functions. The more traffic on a particular post can catch the eye of our product managers and eventually make changes!

Unfortunately, notifications for new orders are only available through email currently. Following the steps that @RobynR provided are the best next steps in regard to this.

I just want them to be able see notifications on the square for retail app, so they can go to online orders, without needing to be able to see all of the other correspondence. Now they have all access and see all the finical transactions and staffing and payroll.

@NAHs At this time, notifications for online orders in the Square for Retail app are only sent via email, so there isn’t a way to limit in-app notifications specifically for online orders while restricting access to other areas like financials and staffing.

 

I would recommend submitting a feature request, as @Sammie_C mentioned above.
