Display items by category in Shop all page

Right now when customers click on my shop now button it takes them to a page showing all of my items for sale with the option to click on a category on the left side of the page.  The middle with all of the items is not sorted by any logical means.  I would prefer it default sort to category and then alphabetical in that category.  Is there a way to do that?

@StaciWied I use the retail template and set it up with display categories like this:  www.orderupcafe.com

I then turn off the itemized search part of the shop all.  By making the landing page/home page have just featured categories, I can drive the way customers click on things on the site.  You can put multiple items in the same or multiple categories in the same and that way you can organize it unlimited style just like good ole windows file explorer.

The purpose of the Shop All page is to have one place where your customers can find all of your products. 

Square offer 2 different layout options: one that was created with retail businesses in mind (Shop All) and another that suits food and beverage businesses best (Order Online)

When using the Shop All template, you do have the option to customize in what order your items are shown when customers first visit your site.

To rearrange your items, head to your Site Editor, select your Shop All page from the dropdown on the left and select the Item list section. 

Once in the Item list section, you'll find an Arrange items button on the left. Click this button and select Custom from the dropdown menu. You'll be able to drag your items until they are arranged in the way you prefer.
