Allow items to have a price for Online Store separate from the the In-store price

Our in-store price and Square Online prices are different. The Square Online price that we list is just a little higher than in-store. When we set a different price, the website strikes through our in-store price (which is cheaper) and marks it as "Sale" price when the customers are viewing it, even though it is not on sale and we would just like to list it as a different price for online orders.

Our work around was to duplicate our entire menu. This make it harder to use our mobile devices during off-site events since we have to fiddle through to find the correct item.

Is there a way the Square Online price can just list the price for Square Online without showing the customer the in-store price?

Since this particular feature isn’t currently available on our platform, I have updated the status to “Open”. Any updates on this feature? We really need it on our end and have a big inventory that we do not have time to duplicate for online sales...

We would welcome this features as well. We sell whole animal prime meat. The challenge is that we do not know what the final price will be until we ship a product. We would like to have a "holding" or "reservation" charge for our online orders, but also show the price per pound. We have a work around now by creating two different variations for every $/lb product... In a perfect world we could view the per price pound online, charge the reservation fee... up on which the customer will receive the final invoice upon order fulfillment. But we need the $/lb price always available for when we attend farmers markets. 

We also track inventory as by per item... which is really helpful. 

Graze Cart is doing has this capability, we are very happy with Square so I am not saying we are switching, simply providing an example of how it could be done.

We are following this as well. We really need to have the ability to have a price schema for on-line that is different from in-store. Kind of silly that any price difference is seen as a "sale".

An update on our end. After some more time working through the order flow. We would like to refine our request to have certain product variations available online only. For instance we can sell by the item online then by the pound at the farmers market. Offering both variations for sale but controlling what is available as an option online. This will help us books confusion on the website but be flexible at the POS system level.

Any updates on this feature addition would be appreciated.  

We are in our summer market season, not being able to offer products seamlessly through our website is becoming a significant limiting factor to our growth. 

We love the Square ecosystem, but we need this feature added to stay on the platform long term.
