Why are the links to my event item pages not showing on my Square Online site?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Links to item pages not showing on site.

I run online events as well as sellling food items through my Square website. I create items in the Item Library for both - using prepared food and events types. I also have pages for each event showing all dates available and, in the past, have linked the text showing each date to the Item Page for the corresponding event. 

I am adding events for 2025. I can add a link to the Item Page from text and the link appears in the page editor. However, the link does not show on the live site when published. When I preview the page in the page editor, the event link isn't there either. I did an Inspect in Chrome in case the link was there but not visible but it isn't. There is no hyperlink on the live site. I also viewed the page in Incognito mode in case there was a caching issue but the link isn't there.

I have confirmed that the event is set as visible Visible in Square and it is. The event was created by duplicating a 2024 event which worked successfully. I'm not sure if there's something else that I'm missing.

Any ideas?

If your event items aren’t linking or showing up on your Square Online site, it’s best to get in touch with our Support Team so they can dig deeper into this and escalate your case to our Engineers if needed. If you haven’t already, please reach out by signing in to your account and heading here.

In the meantime, you might want to check out Square Payment Links as an alternative. You can use them to sell tickets to events, set an event capacity limit and link them to existing pages on your website.
