Why are items that have been unassigned from categories still appearing on my Square Online site?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Category content (list of items) not updated on website

My website is:

I have deleted sold items from various categories via Square Dashboard (Items -> Categories -> Add or Remove Items) so that only items available for sale show.

 

1. ISSUE - My category content updates are not reflecting on my website. For example Category "Kim Jae Young" has 5 items according to the Dashboard, but the website is still showing 7 items including 2 sold items which I had removed. This is occurring for many other categories.

What is causing this and how can I ensure to avoid in future?

2. Usability question - When I click on Add or Remove Items, it says say 5 selected, but the list showing is not showing the 5 (so I can simply untick the box I want to remove) but rather a seemingly random set of items, some in the category and many not, and for most, the item picture does not show. I have to go find the items by the title to uncheck the box and remove the sold item from the category. The maintenance of categories has become so much more painful.

Am I doing it wrong?
