Hi there,
Looking at using square appointments for a dance studio. We offer multi-class passes (10 visits, 20 visits, etc.). I can't see how I can set that up... Has anyone else been able to do this?

Hey @Peach_E_Keen!
With a Square Appointments Plus or Premium subscription, you can use the Packages feature to create multi-class passes for your clients.
Here's how to set it up:

Sign in to your Square Dashboard and navigate to Payments > Appointments > Library > Packages.

Click Create package and add in package details such as the name, image, and description.

Under Whatโs included, click Add what's included and select services and classes for the package. If there are multiple variations for a service, only select the variations you want included in the package. Click Done.

Enter the price for the package.

Choose where it's sold. To sell the package online, toggle on the relevant channels.

Toggle on Create a payment link or buy button to use this unique link to sell via email, social media or your website.

Click Save.
Note: Package expiration dates cannot be farther out than one year from purchase.

Hi, I also want to sell my pilates classes by package. At present I do not want clients to book online, so I can control the booking process. How do I book in my clients using their prepaid package? I can't find any articles to help me understand using packages. Currently I invoice my regulars weekly and manage packages on a spreadsheet .. Thank you

You can apply your customerโs package to the sale when you check them out for an appointment or class via the Square Dashboard or Appointments app:
- Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Appointments or Payments > Appointments.
- Click Calendar and select the appointment or class you want to redeem a package for.
- From an appointment, click Take Payment. If the customer has an applicable package, it will be automatically applied.
- For classes, add the attendee you want to a class. If that customer has an applicable package, it will show as applied on the Choose payment method screen.
- If the total amount of the transaction is reduced to $0 with the package, choose Other for the payment type, then click Record payment to complete the transaction.
- If the total amount of the transaction is greater than $0, click Record payment to complete the transaction as normal.
- Open your Square Appointments POS app and tap Calendar.
- Select the appointment or class you want to redeem a package for.
- For an appointment, tap Review and check out. If the customer has an applicable package, it will be automatically applied.
- For classes, add the attendee you want to a class. If that customer has a package, you will be asked if you want to apply it to that booking.
- If the total amount of the transaction is reduced to $0 with the package, tap Charge, then tap Record payment on the next screen.
- If the total amount of the transaction is greater than $0, tap Charge to complete the transaction as normal.
