How do I change the image displayed on the customer display screen of my Square Register?

For the past few days i am not able to change the picture of my customer display. I cannot see the option to change it under location anymore.

I can still see the option for my square terminal.

I have tried everything, but still nothing. Anyone has the same issue?

Just to make sure we're on the same page, are you saying that when you log into your online Square Dashboard and select the relevant location from your Account & Settings page, you no longer see the "Point of Sale Checkout Background" setting?

Ideally, you'd be able to click the icon to upload your image, then click Save in the top-right corner. Rebooting your Square Register is necessary to sync the update to your customer display screen.

If you're no longer seeing that setting after trying the above steps, please let me know!

Hi, I am afraid I do not see this option anymore, how I use to do it, go to account & settings, then click on location, then go down and drop my image on the register screen. 

For the past few weeks I only have the option to change my terminal image but no more register option there.

This does sound unusual. Itโ€™s possible the issue is related to multiple devices being linked to the same locationโ€”though I wouldnโ€™t expect that to affect the way theyโ€™re listed. If youโ€™re now only seeing the Square Terminal for this location, it might be worth exploring further.

Adding to this thread in case anybody else (like me) is frustrated on this.

 

Account & Settings --> My business --> Locations --> Click on the Location --> on the pop up box on the right, click Edit Location --> Under Branding click the edit icon --> Click Edit --> Top right hand corner click Skip --> Select Point of Sale --> Add your image
