Square don't pay any taxes to the ATO on your behalf. I assume you're talking about the GST component you charge. You'll have to submit a BAS to the tax office which reconciles your input credits and GST you owe the ATO. This is 'tax 101' stuff and happens no matter which e-commerce platform you use. I'd suggest reading the multitude of information that's on ATO site, tax is boring as f🤬 but part of doing business. Alternative is bartering 😉, no GST on that 😊.

Hi,
I think the issue is that Square apparently lodge our sales to ATO for reporting purposes.
Square report how much GST we collected so we just need to make sure we report that number to ATO and I believe we’re fine.
if you go to dashboard and your phone, you can see Taxes and just report that.
