I accidentally added "Cart" to my menu on my site.  How do I remove it?

It's actually pretty easy- Go to Store > Settings, and change your Store Mode from Add to Cart to Buy Now, then re-publish.

I tried to remove the cart, but unfortunately it doesn´t work.

I still see MANDJE(o) as one of the pages.

@Marjolein, just follow Adam's instructions from above: Go to Store > Settings, and change your Store Mode from Add to Cart to Buy Now, then re-publish.

TRILLION, those instructions were from before a change to the platform, sorry for the confusion! Now you'd want to go to STORE > Setup.

Hi

I am having the same issue, "Cart" is showing on my website and i no longer want to have the store. How do I remove the Cart. There is no option after Set Up directing to where you are saying. Can you guys please provide clear instructions on how to get rid of the Cart Tab. Its very frustuating that so many of your customers are having the same issue.

i went to store -setup-general- changed to buy now removed all my store info and tab and still see the cart on my website after publishing any furher advice on how to delete the cart from my menu???? help please

I'm not seeing a cart on your site when I check it, @glamourbyxo. Are you still seeing it? If so try clearing your browser cache and reloading.

Here is the solution: 

Go to Store > Setup > Then scroll down to "General" > Click on "Edit" on the top right hand corner > Under "Purchase Mode, you will see "Add to Cart" and "Buy Now" > Select Buy Now >Save it. Publish your website.

Bingo, you are done: Now go to your actual website, refresh the page and the Cart icon is GONE!!!! Smiley Happy

I want to keep my SHOP tab so provide link to my new STORE however, I want to get rid of the CART but I can't see anything in STORE SET UP or anywhere to change to BUY IT NOW you speak of in all the other forum posts... HELP please! I just assumed when I deleted my subscription for the Ecommerce all would be deleted.... ???

I do not have a "store mode" or anything that is listed under general to switch this over. I want to remove buying online and cart option. None of the tabs you have listed are availble under my setup button. Please advise!

This is so frustrating, I read so many forum instructions and none of them apply. I need to remove the shopping cart.

I tried to look for all that is suggested but I dont see the buy now option under any of the store tabs.

Please help!

Also maybe they should consider making this easier beacuse clearly this is an on going issue.

I'm very sorry for the frustration, @katt. In order to follow the instructions you will need to first connect a payment gateway. The easiest way to do this is to connect to Stripe from Store>Setup>Checkout. Once you connect a payment processor, you will see the option to switch to "Buy Now" instead of "Add to Cart".

My client at this time does not want to connect any payment options or take orders online at this time. Is there any other options?

You just have to connect the processor temporarily to get the correct option to show. Once you choose the "buy now" option the cart will go away and you should be able to disconnect the payment profile.
