I accidentally added "Cart" to my menu on my site.  How do I remove it?

It's actually pretty easy- Go to Store > Settings, and change your Store Mode from Add to Cart to Buy Now, then re-publish.

I'm very sorry as I know it's not ideal 😕 I had checked in with advanced support earlier, and that's what they advised me to do. I can definitely submit feedback to the teams regarding the automatic showing of the cart. The issue is related to the theme and because it is a "ecom" site. At some point during the onboard process, the client choose an option that they wanted to sell online which created the store experience you see.

Hi @katt I just wanted to followup with you real quick..I think I may have found a work around for you, but it does involve downloading the app. The app is actually really useful to have for editing on the go, but you can also just use it to remove the cart. The app is available in both the Apple and Google store. Once you download and login, simply click Store>Settings>Store Mode. You should be able to change the mode without adding the payment gateway.

Hello @Adam,

I am really frustrated with my site, because I no longer need my "cart" in my menu bar. I have read countless strings of answers, and they all say the same thing. They say to go to "store", then "Setup", then change "store mode" to "buy now". I don't see any of those anywhere. Can you please include screenshots? I can't even find "store" on the menu.

Please help!!!

Can you go to Settings > Checkout and connect to a checkout provider temporarily? Once you do that you should see more options in Settings > Checkout > Advanced to change the store mode to "buy now". After changing that you can then disconnect from the checkout provider.

Hi, 

Please help. I have read all the posts, and this seems easy enought, but not for my site. 

I don't get the same options. 

I need to delete the cart showing up on the right top corner of my pages. I don't see that I am setup for ecommerce, and I have never sold anything at my side in a cart. If it is automatic, maybe since I started with Weebly and in the transistion I did not get the option to delete this cart. Any of the replies do not work for me. They are not a choice. 

I do have the settings/Checkout/ but only to connect to Square button. So I am not connected. 

No option to "Buy" instead of "Sell". 

I am hoping to resolve this by removing the cart from the website all togehter. What is another work around. I have looked on line and read many replies. Nothing is working. 

Thanks for you help, if there is anything I can do.

Thanks for reaching out, @Rado. I don't see the shopping cart icon on your page, unless I'm looking at the wrong site.. Can you please verify the site name, and let us know if you still need help?

I'm having exactly the same issues. No problems at all until I stupidly did the create a Square account thing. Now I'm stuck with a cart thing on my header and cant remove it.

EDIT: I think i've found a way round it. I deleted all of the items for sale that I had added and the cart has now disappeared.
