How can I add a clickable pedigree to my website?
I need to add a pedigree to my website.
I'll add a link to show what I'm after. I tried manually piecing this together, but can't figure out how to add the lines so it's less confusing.
What I want: http://www.buffalogaplonghorns.com/Default.aspx?AnimalID=64460&Name=TUFFSRUFFNROWDY&sid=1404
Thank you!

The easiest way to do this would be to use a dedicated pedigree flowchart generator where you can save the chart as a .jpg or.png and upload into an image element. There's quite a few available, this one's very good and offers a free version that's better than most:

Hope this helps, Gary

Thank you. I checked that out and it's much better than what I have now, but a question. Is there a way to lnk certain 'spots' (e.g., animals) in the pedigree to open that up in a new page (that animal's pedigree). Normally, you can click on each animal and endlessly follow pedigrees. I hope that makes sense ...

Yes, it makes sense (I've some experience with human genetic pedigree charts, though I suspect cattle pedigrees are more complex). It's possible to include multiple links in an image, it's called an 'image map'. You mark out specific locations on the image that when clicked take you elsewhere.
So what I suggest is that you create a webpage for every pedigree and create the page URLs. Then create your images for each of the pedigrees. Once you've got your pedigree images finished find an online image map generator, or download an image program/app and mark out the locations on the image to link to the appropriate URL of the dedicated pedigree page. Finally, upload all of your images with the added image map information to their respective webpages. You can choose to make the pedigree pages open to search engines or hidden (i.e., only accessible from your website).
Hope this makes sense, Gary
