Every time i try to delete several spacers, my entire page disappears! i have to quickly exit Edit Mode and then re-enter. My page is still there (Thanks goodness!) and I've learned to 'Publish' before i try it each time. But i still can not eliminate the extra wide spaces without doing damage.
Can someone help me to understand why this happens and how to accomplish my goal?

Can you try switching to Chrome or FireFox, @Cre8ful? I think it's likely related to the browser you're using. Also, if the spacers you're trying to delete are in columns, try deleting the entire columns element instead.

Where are your site are you having trouble, @ethereal? Usually you can get rid of them by deleting the columns element that contains the spacers.

UPDATE: I see the column element!!!! Sorry I guessed my coffee just worn off on me. So clicking on the space between the columns that shows the column spacing will reveal the entire row as an element, aka there will be a bounding box over it with an "x" at the top right corner just like any other elements, and that will delete the whole row with those columns of spacers.

Hi, I have trouble deleting spacer elements on one of my blog post: http://pgrn5.weebly.com/featured-investigators/archives/12-2015
They are at the bottom of the post, under the button "Learn More". There are multiple of them as I tried to move them around to see if that would let me delete them but all ended up getting stuck and just multiplied. A few appeared after I move text in a column to differerent positions, even though there was no spacer to begin with, after the text was moved they left behind spacers (!?).
I read the whole thread but there is no Column element to be deleted - just like everyone else had said, it's just elements put next to each other and that created columns. And only elements could be deleted, although that leaves behind spacer which is the problem.
Thanks!

I don't see any spacers on that post when I checked it in the editor. Were you able to remove these since you posted here, @thaopdo?

Hi @Lanatravels You need to make sure to click on the column first so that you can delete all elements in a row at once. Let me know if it is still not working for you. I don't want to delete the wrong spacers.
