Can Not Delete Spacer

Every time i try to delete several spacers, my entire page disappears! i have to quickly exit Edit Mode and then re-enter. My page is still there (Thanks goodness!) and I've learned to 'Publish' before i try it each time. But i still can not eliminate the extra wide spaces without doing damage.

Can someone help me to understand why this happens and how to accomplish my goal?

This is still an issue - I have tried to insert dividers and that seemed to work UNTIL I deleted the dividers, then the spacers return.

Can someone help?!  I have attempted deleting spacers using both ie and chrome with no success. 

I need ALL spacers from the Tech Programs, IT Security, IT Networking, IT hardware and Data Management pages deleted.  I promise to never insert another one 😃

Hi,

I guess I'm not smart enough to figure this out. There are several spacers on my page that I cannot delete. Please advise, or feel free to go in and do it. I assume you have record of my account? The problem is on Shellsburg City Site, page is called Investor Properties. Look at the section called Commercial Properties For Rent.

Hi @jhidinger I took a look at your site, but I do not see any extra spacers on the page you referenced. Did you already figure out how to remove them? 

If not, you should be able to click on the vertical divider line between the spacers to view the option to delete the entire row of elements.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. Yes, I solved the problem by making a new page, copying the good elements and deleting the old page. I forgot all about updating my request to you. So sorry!

There does seem to be a real issue with the spacer. I absolutely could not make them go away. I would delete one, and another would show up. Could not get it to less than two spacers in that section, sometimes as many as five! Extremely frustrating, definitely an issue. Weebly overall is superb.

I'm sorry for the frustration! I remember the first time I ran into this and it was pretty annoying! 

I'm glad to hear you were able to find a workaround, though. Please let us know if it happens again, and we'll try to walk you through deleting so you don't have to recreate everything.
