"Device not supported" Galaxy Tab A 8.0

I have a galaxy tab 4 and I cannot make my chip and pin reader connect to it. I have updated the device and reinstalled and signed in to square. I just get ‘device not supported’ messages after connwcting the reader. Any ideas welcome

Hey @Berrybexhill - Your device should be compatible with the Contactless + Chip reader. If your device is up to date as well as the app and the troubleshooting steps didn't work for you, our CS team can help you determine if there is anything going on with the reader itself and advise on any next steps.
