how to get to "open ticket" button for tab on new POS system

i'm trying to create a tab for customers orders. I know that you can't keep a CC info on file, but  you suggested a "open ticket" button to keep all orders before they check out.  I can find that option  on my old ipad regester but not the new square register i just purchased.

Welcome back to the Community! 

 

It sounds like you might need to turn on your "Open Tickets" Setting on your Register. Check that out under Settings > Open Tickets > turn on to enable it.

there is no such button to “turn on”
