bar code scanner and appointment app

Hello - The new appointment app wont allow us to use our bar code scanner for product checkout!  Still works in just regular POS checkout but no longer works for appt checkout when trying to add product

Hey @koreilly, thanks for surfacing this.

 

You're correct — the ability to sell items and, in turn, use the bar code scanner with the Appointments app isn't available at this time. Services used for Square Appointments and Items used for the Square Point of Sale app cannot be merged or tracked together.

I'm am very frustrated with these issues and lack of better customer support. I am not able to use my scanner for product check out. And I am not able to select charge to check out my customers even with cash and check payments. I will be go back to my previous POS system if support does not improve soon.
