Unable to update the POS app on new iPad

I originally purchased square for my iPhone years ago recently upgraded to full system for pos on my new iPad and it won’t let me update app because it wasn’t originally purchased thru the iPad, I can’t run credit cards currently because I need to upgrade

@Montage527 Hmmm, interesting. 

 

Since the issue is happening in the App Store, you should reach out to Apple Support  so they can help you upgrade the POS app. Sounds like there could be an issue with your iCloud account but I'm not certain. 

 

In the meantime, you can take payments through Dashboard using Virtual Terminal. Keep in mind: processing payments that way is a higher processing fee.
