Refunds by amount?
Recently one of my employees issued a credit card refund by amount because the customer entered the wrong number when leaving a custom tip. When this happens, where does the refund come from? It doesn't seem to have come from item sales, but it doesn't seem to have come from the tip balance either. Please help!

Hi LuntSandbar,
I believe when a refund is issued, the customer gets the entire amount back. Sadly, your processing fees and other costs are basically a business loss. Perhaps others here in the Community can speak to this topic. (Personally our experience has been that the Customer gets their full amount back.)
