Pop-up says contactless + chip updating, please wait

Anyone having this issue, I bought a new tablet, a new reader and still have the same issue.

@Pitmaster1 Are you using the square stand? ipad or android?

 

I would restart tablet, and reset reader (hold down the button till it goes 4 red) and then repair, re-plug, etc.

 

Also make sure your square app is up to date.
