For payment processing to be activated on your account, there are some account set-up steps that first need to be completed. These include, verifying your identity and linking your bank account.
When you sign in on your Square Dashboard, you should find a handy set up guide which will walk you through these steps, and indicate whatโs still required. Just click on the banner that shows how far along you are, to get started.
Keep in mind that you might need to try the identity verification process more than once, if the information youโve provided is not up to date with whatโs recorded on the UK Electoral Roll. It may also take up to 4 business days for your bank account to be fully linked and verified.
