I have a new Iphone 16 , the square reader is not compatible with it. I bought some adapters, I had an iphone X before. The adapter does not work. Wondering if anyone has found one that will work on the new phones.

Hey @ritzy. The iPhone 16 needs a USB-C connection, as will all newer iPhones after this one. Currently Square only offers headphone jack and lightning magstripe readers. Therefore, until Square releases a USB-C magstripe reader, you will need to purchase a USB-C to Lightning adaptor.

Or, if you have headphone jack magstripe readers, you’ll need a USB-C to headphone jack adaptor. Regardless, adaptors for iPhone X definitely will not work for iPhone 16.
