Marketing Campaign & Multiple Categories

 

I'm trying to set up an email campaign that would include a discount on multiple categories of products (this excludes products that are already discounted). I can add the additional categories but, the when the reward code is redeemed, the discount is only applied to the first product in the first category I selected for the campaign. If I only choose one category the reward is applied only to one product in that category (first selected) and others are ignored. 

 

Anyone else run into this? Am I doing something wrong?

Hey @ecaracappa! Thanks for surfacing this question. 

 

You aren't doing anything wrong. This is actually a limitation that we have with our Marketing discounts by categories. Whenever you apply a coupon code, the discount will apply to the first item from a category that is listed on the transaction. 

 

We've heard this come up before, so we'll continue to pass your inquiry along to our Product Team.
