In the past week or so, my daily Low Stock Alert email has gone from a dozen or more items on average, to a handful. There are items that definitely sold out the day prior, have had a low stock alert for years, and were not on the email. What's going on? I rely pretty heavily on this email to know what sold out so I can reorder it.

Hi there, @llij96 - I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing this issue with low-stock alert emails as well.
If you haven't already, I recommend double-checking these settings to make sure everything's enabled correctly:
1. From Items & orders > Items > Item Library in your online Square Dashboard, low stock alerts are shown under the "Stock Alert" column for items with alerts enabled.
2. Stock alert notification emails are sent to the email address associated with your Square account daily if any item with alerts enabled falls below the alert threshold. The email will list any items that fell below the alert threshold today, as well as any other items that fell below the alert threshold on previous days.
You can disable email alerts for an item by unchecking the "Alert" box for that item. Additionally, you can configure your email notifications from the Email Notifications tab on your online Square Dashboard.
If this doesn't improve things, please reach out to Support directly by logging into your Square account and heading here for further assistance.
I hope this helps!

I have been experiencing this too. I had a customer mention something to me that was not on the shelf. I assumed I'd already received an out of stock alert & it should be on the order I'm building. However, when I looked at the order it was not there, so I checked when it went out of stock, and it was a couple weeks ago. Is it possible I just missed it? Sure. But now I've seen this more often, and it's on things I always try to keep in stock (popular items), so I would be diligent about getting them on the order.
Also, in the last couple of days, I'm getting 2 low stock emails a day--sent at the exact same time. However, when I opened them to compare, one listed a couple things that did sell out the day before, and the other one listed no new out of stocks (it went right to the "Previous" section of things that have been out of stock for a while). Thought it was a fluke yesterday, but now it's 2 days in a row.

Hi @blackmoonnh, were you able to get this resolved with Square support? I'm having similar low stock issues too, though I'm also getting duplicate low stock emails. Was hoping it was a fluke, but now seems to be a pattern. I rely heavily on these too for building my next orders. Thanks for sharing any insights you might have!
