Is there a way to make the website load a bit faster?

For some reason, we always feel that our website is loaded really slow when browse using computer and is not easy to search the items from the search. Could it be something to do with the plan or in general square hosted website is slow.

Here is our site: https://www.t7tea-loosetea.com/

Thanks!

Hi @t7tea.  One thing that I see immediately is that you have a lot of items, all with images, on one page.  This will always cause slow loading, especially on the first visit by a customer.

I’d recommend changing your layout.  To do this, go into the editor, click on the item list.  Scroll down to the bottom and click Customize -> Layout and color.  If it were my store, I’d choose the 3rd layout which is “best for categorized menus with more than 100 items.”  That 100 is kind of arbitrary in my opinion, and I would consider this for 50 or more item stores.

If you do this and republish, when visitors first go to your Order Online page, they will be presented with a list of categories to choose from.  When they select one, only items in that category will be loaded and displayed, resulting in a much faster perceived load time.

Let me know if that works for you.
