I use a Square Stand and sometimes I send Text or Email receipts but why do the Digital receipts not Match the Setting for a Printed receipt? I have Descriptions turned off for my Receipts, but see the description on my Digital receipts. I use the Description area for Inventory Stock / Bin Locations. This is not needed for a customers receipt which is why I have it Turned off on Receipts.
Does anyone know how not to print Descriptions on the Digital receipts that get sent by email or text? Square for Retail, and Business Settings on Square Dashboard are set to not print the Description.
I thought I asked this before but can not find it now to see if there is a good answer.

Hey there, @Candlestore 👋 Violet here, following up for @sayra. It looks like you still need help with this, so I kept the ball rolling on your inquiry while she's out of office.
It looks like you might be looking at this at the Transaction level from your Square Dashboard vs the Digital Receipt that your customer actually receives. To view what the customer sees, you'll want to click the blue link with the receipt #number at the bottom as shown below. Here, I do not see the descriptions of the items. You can also view what the customer will see by following the steps for receipt search listed here.

From my Dashboard I have my settings as you have described for my Description not to be printed. The Description does not print on Printed receipts. Now when I look at a Digital receipt, the Description does print. To look at a digital receipt I go through Dashboard > Transactions > then select a Transaction that I know has a location in the Description since not all of my items have Descriptions listed. For Example My candles we make, we have one location in our basement for Our candles depending on style or size. See attached picture of an item from a digital Receipt yesterday.
This is the way I have had the settings for months
Description : Basement Bin A-8 is not on the Printed but here it is on the Digital one. Is this the same way a Customer gets a Text or Emailed Receipt even though the Descriptions are turned off not to Print?
This shows on Digital receipts not printed ones.
This is the issue I am trying to solve to not have Descriptions on Text and Emailed receipts. I can not find a setting for Text and Emailed (Digital) Receipts.
