How can you customise printed tickets ?

Hi There, we have a square system for a cafe every time an order prints out a small docket ticket with the table number comes out  followed by the actual order also with a table number.. How do I stop it printing out the small docket with the table number on as it is a waste of till roll and unnecessary.

Hi @Horsellkitchen, thanks for posting and welcome to the Seller Community 👋.

 

You can customise your printer profile to choose which ticket(s) are being printed. Depending on your set-up, these changes can be done either from your:

 

Dashboard

  1. In Settings, go to Device Management
  2. Click on Profiles then Printer Profiles
  3. Select the relevant printer.
  4. Click on Order ticket stubs and untoggle
  5. Save

 

or POS

  1. Open the Square POS app.
  2. Tap ≡ More > Settings > Hardware > Printers.
  3. Select the relevant printer.
  4. Click on Order ticket stubs and untoggle
