Hi @rorx - thanks for reaching out. Square collects many different data points based on transactions in order to ensure that our environment remains safe for buyer and Sellers alike.
For security purposes, we do not share that information unless working with law enforcement directly.
Can I ask what specifically you are needing the IP address for?

I too would like to know this information. Many of our transactions are for high-dollar collectible wines and we frequently fighting fraud. Currently the only condition Square will allow to trigger a risk is if the IP is out of the country. I would like to now if the IP matches the shipping or billing address.

I don't believe we have anything in place for this, @WineSneak
One thing to keep in mind, though, is that a person's IP address may not match their specific location - especially the shipping or billing address. For example, my internet often shows my IP address as several cities from where I am actually located.
Are you having trouble with people ordering items from your site, then trying to dispute the charge?

I do see the IP address if I get a risk alert. But not when the transaction is not flagged as a risk. And yes, on a few of our high dollar items we do see fraudulent transactions. So far I have caught most of them. An IP address several cities away is not usually an issue but when it is from another State, it raises a flag for me.

Thanks for the clarification! I'm not sure if this is something the team would be able to implement, but I can definitely pass along your feedback to them for you as a considered feature request.
