I changed my bank account and verified it. However, deposits are STILL going into the previous account. How the heck to I get this fixed? My settings show the correct account; show that it's been verified; but that's not where the money is going. So frustrated!!!!!

You may need to contact customer Service so that they can look into your account and hopefully see and fix the error that is causing the issue with the transfers.

And how does one go about doing that? I have yet to be able to find anything other than an automated chat.

Sorry you are encountering some frustrations with bank verification. As @Minion mentioned, it may be worthwhile to have our Customer Success team look into this so that they can take a deep dive here.
In the meantime, I do want to point out that some banks take a few days to fully verify, sometimes up to 4 business days.
