Square Team App to Sync with Calendar when Schedules for a Shift

This request is more so for Square Shifts or Square Teams, but I did not see an option to create a request in those categories, so I chose the next best thing.

I have compared apples to apples to leave Homebase and Gusto so that Square manages my Shifts, Team Communications, and Payroll.  For the most part, the Square team has done an amazing job developing everything a business would need, and being quite encompassing to include everything the others softwares have.

The ONLY thing I cannot seem to find is how to get shifts in Square Team to sync with Google and Apple calendars. I've searched to find forums on this and could not find any requesting this.  Apologies if I have missed it.

This request is simply requesting the ability for calendar syncing when I am scheduled for a shift. Most people use either Google or Apple to manage their days.  It would not make sense for teams to manage another calendar (and have to remember to check an additional calendar) everyday.

👋 thanks for all the input and 100% recognize the resounding desire and need for shift calendar sync across all our sellers. 

The team's in the process of prioritizing this across a number of other priorities and unfortunately I don't have any formal guidance on if/when this will get delivered. As soon as I do, I'll circle back with updates!

@Cofeedgrain I agree, I will likely pull away from teams and square payroll if this feature isn’t available in the coming month.

Chiming in to say that this is also a very necessary feature. As a small business owner I am also on the shift schedule on and off and the ability to sync this with my Apple calendar would eliminate a lot of stress and manual duplication of data that I certainly don't have time for. I previously used Connecteam for shift scheduling and there was a link to subscribe to my own personal shift schedule, which I was able to share with other members of my family so they knew when I was working. This would be beneficial for both business owners and employees.

This seems like a very straightforward feature that makes a lot of sense to implement, and it does baffle me as to why this hasn't been done yet.

It’s intentional. We’re moving away from Squares teams and payroll feature.

yes please! I know you can sync scheduled appointments to google calendar. let's make this happen for scheduled shifts too!

This feature is a MUST! I am shocked that Square Teams still doesn't have this functionality. It's been an EXTRA big hassle because Square forces you to use a separate email and square account per employer (so I own a business that uses square, but also help out at another business that uses square). If I need to view the schedule or do anything for the other employer I have to log out, log in, and complete a very tedious CAPTCHA that has multiple sets of images EVERY time I switch logins and employers. I already called and complained about multiple employers on one account no longer being allowed (this used to be a feature and sometimes even shows that page where you select an employer). Being able to pull a subscription link or export the schedule to my personal calendar would be an easy workaround! Please implement this ASAP. I have had the same issues as another commenter of missing shifts because I have to check a separate schedule every night.

Is this a feature yet?! It’s kind of insane that it’s not already built in…from a user experience stand point, it’s a big miss.
