How do I turn off the line through out of stock items setting?
Hello! It seems that Square has had an update again, and now any items that are out of stock have a line through them and are impossible to read. Is there a way to turn this feature off? With the way my inventory is entered I need to be able to see all the items, even the ones that are out of stock.
My story: I have two locations (A and B) and one website that pulls from both. When setting up the site Square would only allow inventory to be pulled from one location, so I had to enter it all in one (A). The problem is that I have two brick-and-mortar shops that use the separate Square locations as their POS systems. Location B cannot read any of the items on the screen because they are all crossed out. This is a huge problem! Thanks for your help.

Hi there, @shoplostfound! 👋
This is intended behavior for there to be a line through items that are sold out. When the stock hits 0, it will be marked as sold out and be displayed with a strike through in the name.
If you would like to have this turned off, you will need to turn off Inventory tracking for your items. The downside to this is that since it won’t track any inventory, it will lead to over selling. On your website, you could end up accepting orders on items that might be already sold out.
With inventory tracking turned off, you would manually have to track the stocks and mark items as sold out, so that they don’t oversell.
I did see that you have two locations but only have inventory set for one. You could create a second website for Location B and then have inventory for that location be pulled onto the second site. I know that would be some work in the back end, but you would be able to have accurate inventory tracking and avoid the lines through the items in the POS.
I hope this helps!

Thanks for your answer, unfortunately, this is not an option for us. We have been using Square this way for years and this line crossing out just started recently and I was hoping to be able to turn it off. Thanks though.
