Does ANYONE know of an affordable bluetooth ios for iphones thermal receipt printer compat. square?

I have been searching for over a year now. Where I live, there are a LOT of people who want a hard copy receipt so I'm having to write them out constantly at shows which takes away from my next possible customer as people are having to WAIT IN LINE! This is frustrating! I would LOVE to have the money to buy one directly from Square, however, that's not an option when they're $300+ for the small portable thermal receipt printer that they do sell. I am looking for something OUTSIDE of the square network that is Compatible with the Square POS system from my iPhone. Bluetooth, and small enough to take with me to events. SOMETHING AFFORDABLE! Not cheap and shamely made. Any help would be AMAZING! I've already spoken with customer service in Square and they only suggested the help through here. So here I am! PLEASE anyone with information, PLEASE PLEASE respond to this~ I need help~ If I can't find something that will work, then I will have to sadly find another payment service and transfer all of my information over~

Sadly if Square's solutions don't meet your expectations - move on - I'm sure that you will find what works for you.

We've used Square for quite some time including their recommended hardware and receipt printer - it works quite well for us and as compared to other services, Square is competitive - there is no one service that fits everyone's needs - one has to dig into all the details to find what works for their requirements.   Suggest that you keep looking for what works for YOU.  We did that - for example, PayPal had quite a few features that we liked however, Square had some features that worked better for our needs.  Bottom line, it's a crap shoot - only you can figure that out.   Perhaps others have some thoughts - that would be interesting for both of us.

Well firstly, I've been with Square for years! The only drawback is the receipt printer and the fact that nothing out there as far as I can find will work with the POS system. I NEVER said they're a horrible company! It's nice to see the rest of you who obviously are quite well established with extra income to throw around to get the tools you need at the higher costs! I however can't! This IS my business which pays my bills at home! It pays for the roof over my head and the beds we sleep in! I don't have the extra cash flow! Also I simply ASKED if anyone KNEW of an alternative Receipt printer that works with Square! You can find another place to comment. You're literally coming at me as if I'm nothing but trash~ So move along~ Thanks!

The only 2 options I know of are the Terminal from Square.... its their all in one hand held unit,  The other option is their Star micro Network, USB, and Bluetooth Printer.  I use this one but it needs to be plugged in and does not have a battery so I do not know if it will suit your needs.  I like the idea of this one because it connects multiple ways to most POS systems.  Now if both of those are too expensive you may want to call Star or Epson and see if they have a receipt printer that connects to Square and is bluetooth capable.  I figure since both of them make receipt printers that work with Square they might know more what they have that will work and is portable.

Now POS Guys do some videos on different POS sytems and what hardware works including Square, maybe ask them?
