I represent an association that does fundraising and is not a registered business. I've been told that we have to re-verify our account to continue to use the Square. I tried to enter our information on the website to do this but when it comes to the question about our federal or provincial numbers, we don't have one and so I can't continue with the process. How do I re-verify our association?

The team confirmed that you should select the business type "Charity and Nonprofit", and put "00000" as the business number.

Hi Lou8. I've tried to re-verify our group of Richmond Gogos as you suggested, but was rejected. I no longer see the choice of using an association as a type of business. What happened to that category? I do have a customer code number. Will that help? There must be other groups like ours who are being asked to re-verify their accounts, or are we the only one?

I seem to be having the same problem. Also, when I click to reverify my business, I just get the loading message... over and over again
After checking with the support team, the request notification is not withdrawn even if our account has already been verified. For me, all's well in the end!

Since I don't have access to your account information, I would suggest reaching out to our support team directly by either email or phone in this case. They'll be able to take a closer look at your account !
