better website design

I am wanting a good looking website but there isn't much options for website design. I have considered moving to shopify due to the multitude of design options they have for their websites. Is there another option besides moving to have a good looking website. I currently have the square online store that opens though weebly (which i find difficult to work with)

Thanks @MJD

Hey @LAZRR  So yes I have had a wordpress site for some time and  now, and changed the design and hosts more times than i care to admit but i think I have it a good break down now and found the right amount of plugins to run for my site Square's plugin included as one of them.

I am unsure of your budget or your available time for you to work on your site if you plan to do the work yourself.   Wordpress is the "easy" one to use out of the box with many different plugins available to help you out.  Over the last year I reference this site a lot, and have gotten my speeds in the high 90's and my Google Page Speed at an A. YMMV, but its a great resource to get started. Again I do all of my own site work, as well as SEO so for the majority of it I am happy, but we all know there are only so many hours in a day.

I've used Godaddy, Bluehost, Siteground and am currently running on Cloudways on their $50/month plan (incorporating 10's of thousands of products and images, so i needed the extra bandwidth) I was on there $20 plan IIRC and before and the speeds were night and day compared to previous hosts. Along with that I alos have a handful of paid plugins that were a one time purchase as well.

I've never tried shopify or weebly, as I've just stuck with wordpress based on the amount of paid plugins and themes I have acquired over the years.  There are plenty of great free and paid themes of course that can pretty much suit any business as well as a ton of plugins to use, just be sure to search on the plugin as a lot of them will slow down your site, and thus hurt your SEO rank.

If you have any questions or comments about wordpress feel free to tag me and I'd be glad to help you out where I can.

Cheers
