Hi @Anthill Just wanted to pop in on this thread since I was helping out @JustinC earlier.

It looks like we recently added Kliken as an SEO app that integrates with Square Online. I'm not sure if this is something that would work for you, but I do know we have plans to add more app integrations in the future.

What app did you use through Shopify?

Right now, there aren't any SEO integrations available for the Online Store.

@Anthill You may run into advanced (or even basic) SEO task problems as I did, and no according to the employees and supervisors I spoke with, there are no additional options for SEO with Square Online.

In the direct words of their support, "No, this platform wasnt designed for in depth HTML or SEO alterations."

In their words, Square Online was not designed for changing these type of SEO basics (Proper editing of title tags, 301/302 redirect issues with the Homepage itself, head section editing/canonical url tag, host server errors etc.) These and other SEO basics are needed for Google and Bing to index your site quickly and properly. I do wish they would reflect this in their advertising so it is clear to customers who have transitioned or are about to transition from another platform to Square Online (I came from WordPress where I was able to complete my SEO in hours and the website showing in Google in just a few days).

I'm happy to answer any questions you have on using a Square Online Website with SEO for Google, Bing, etc based on my experience.

Hi Mixengineer.  I have questions about SEO for my SQ online store where I will sell home decor and furniture.

I am planning to set up a SQ online store as part of my existing WordPress website.  I don't need a branded URL from SQ and when I asked,  I was to that I could indeed create the unbranded online site and add it as a page on my site.

I've been reading for days before we get started this week and i'm a bit worried because i don't have the time or money for a false start.  My questions are:

What are the 5-6 ABSOLUTE MUSTS for setting up an SQ online store so i don't have to backtrack and fix things later? I certainly plan to test and retest but i don't know what i don't know.

What has cost you the most money to get right with your SQ online store?

What tips to you have for SEO (which is how i found you)?

I appreciate your offer to help and thanks in advance.

Zita
