How to Link My Namecheap Website to My Square Online Store Cost-Effectively?

We are a start-up. I have an existing website with namescheap plus another that is square-up site that has the items for sale, ordering, pick up & delivery that is used for managing the sales in our cafe/ restaurant. The square information that they give for connecting the two is incorrect, it is probably out-of-date. My namescheap website, which is very low maintenance cost, will have a booking system and other functionality, all at no cost from existing assets. How do I place a button on the namescheap website to launch the square-up site? Does this have to be a paid for link? I am trying to keep costs as a bare minimum, especially as the business failed before due to excessive costs. Or can it better be done as link to the website from square-up?

Hello @pedrohock !

Your setup sounds exactly like mine! I used namecheap to register my domain, a local webhost to host the site, and Square Online for my day to day online sales.

I assume you have your domain hosted by a webhost, so all you really have to do is create a link. Depending on what type of site you're running, like a Wordpress site, it's just the matter of inserting a link to your square store. Your best bet is to look at the site's documentation on how to insert a link since each site does things a little differently. For example, in a wordpress site, when you're editing the page, look for the icon that looks like two chain links. That is the "Add Link" option. You can add the Square Online site via that link. Be sure to include the https:// part as well: your link should look something like "https://yourwebsite.square.online"

Hope this helps!
