How can I take the tax off my payments

How can I take sales tax off my payments.  Medical isn't taxed

Hey there, @DoctorWanda.  If you are certain that all goods and services you charge for are indeed tax exempt, then on your online dashboard go to Account & Settings > Payments > Sales Taxes.  Click to edit any sales taxes that show up in the section “In-person sales taxes.”  Then click Actions > Delete tax.

 

After you do that you will not charge sales taxes on any transaction.

 

Alternatlvely,  you can just click the state(s) in the “Tax Registrations” section and delete any you find there.  But you only need to do this if you have a Square Online store.
