Items' Variation Names NOT EDITABLE

I need to modify my Item Variation Name, but when I click to Edit it, the Name field is greyed out.

This is really, really frustrating.

I found where the name can be modified.  But WHY is the user back end like hunting for gold in D&D?  Square, this is ANYTHING BUT Intuitive.  Boo on you.

If you're looking, I did this:

1. Dashboard
2. Items
3. Options (and I have no idea what I'm looking at, because it sure isn't any one Item or list of Variations)
4. click on the Class (whatever that is and however I created it, I only have one Class)
5. under the list of Edit Option Set, those Variations' names are editable

This is one of the worst ways to get to editing something added in any system I've ever worked in/on.  BOO, Square, BOO.

Oh, and this is where the Variations on an Item can be reordered, in case you need to do this.  I'm guessing that anyone working on lists of Variations that aren't uploaded from a pre-sorted file or routinely adds/removes Variations will need to reorder them.

So I had a new Variation to add for an item and, when clicking on that item from Items, the option to reorder Variations was available there. 😃

BUT WHEN I TRIED A DIFFERENT ITEM, IT WASN'T.    What gives, Square?  This does not make any sense at all.🤔😑
