Google Search Console Optimization
Have successfully added our .square.site to Google Search Console.
Now Google is looking at it, I get some emails with optimization recommendations:
First:
Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 4 Product snippets structured data issue(s). The following issues were found on your site.
‡Non-critical issues are suggestions for improvement, but do not prevent the page or feature from appearing on Google. Some of these issues can affect your appearance on Search; some might be reclassified as critical issues in the future.
We recommend that you fix these issues when possible to enable the best experience and coverage in Google Search.
Second:
Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 3 Merchant listings structured data issue(s). The following issues were found on your site.
Top non-critical issues‡
Missing field "shippingDetails" (in "offers")
No global identifier provided (e.g., gtin, brand)
Missing field "hasMerchantReturnPolicy" (in "offers")
Third:
Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 4 Page indexing issue(s). The following issues were found on your site.
Top Issues
- Alternate page with proper canonical tag
- Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user
- Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag
- Duplicate without user-selected canonical
Since I cannot make changes on the (weebly hosted) Square site, is this an issue, can I do anything to optimize how Google sees the page and thus improve SEO?
Or do I just need to walk away and consider a full blown e-commerce site..?
