How to create specific time slots

Im a nail tech and I want to have 4 clients a day. I want it so the clients can only choose 8am, 11am, 2pm, & 5pm for appointments. I tried doing the additional hours, and for some reason, its not working even if i have enough time blocked out for appointment times. Instead of clients being able to book for like 1:30 or 10am, how do i make it so they can only choose those specific times?

Hi @alanidavid ! Thank you for bringing this to the Square Community and congratulations on making your first post! We are so glad you're here.

Sorry for the delay in response here.

Based on how you want to do this, you may have to have clients call to manually book. While you can block out booking times and set your service durations, you cannot specify appointments can only be booked at those certain times. Having customers call and book will be your best option here to achieve this.

Seriously? We have this high powered scheduling system but it can't give specific times and the only "help" is to have the client call manually? Most of us are trying to save time by using this and going back and fourth with a client is what this program should eliminate.

The answer above is a workaround and not a definite solution or the end all be all. Our teams are working every day on our various softwares. I just provided what the best solution is, currently.

Just in case anyone still needs the answer.. this is how I do it.

i set my service duration as 2 hours. This is easier for me since I only provide two main services. I want to see people at 9:30am, 12pm, and 2:30pm… so I set my open hours as 9:30-11:30, 12-2, 2:30-4:30. So this gives me a :30 gap in between in case I need it.

If you don’t want a gap, this is how I would do it for the times you mentioned:

set service durations at 2hr59m.

open hours as:

8-10:59, 11-1:59, 2-4:59, and 5-7:59.

yes it’ll look odd.. but that’s my workaround.
