Double Book Appointment Types

I am hoping that with Square I can have two appointment types, a standard and a consultation.

I want to book standard Monday-Friday.

I want to book consultations only on Fridays.

In the free trial, I setup an 'appointment type' for each one. Group 1 Appointment types and Group 2 Appointment types.

The issue is, if I have a standard booking scheduled it won't let me schedule a consultation during the same time.

If I change the limits/availability for each to allow 5 of each max per day, and allow 5 appointments per time slot, it still won't let me book one of each at the exact same time.

In other words, even though the max of each is 5, I can't book 1 of each during the same time.

Is there a way around this?

Possibly this may help for you!

To create two different "staff/service providers" which would each have their own custom times. Staff A ONLY has availabilities on Fridays and ONLY offers consultation services. Staff B would be avail on other days and offer all other appts. This would be easy to link up online as well for online booking.

It may complicate things a tad in reporting/separate payroll pay outs but it's the easiest way I can think of to navigate the separate days. Hope this helps! ~B

I found my answer here that the ability to double-book from different appointment types is not allowed:
