Square Terminal requires a passcode

One of our Terminals requires a passcode to modify or cancel a purchase prior to payment. How do I change this? They are all Mobile Staff

Not sure why, but I logged out of the Terminal and logged back in and the problem has disappeared.

Hi

I've logged into my account and there are NO transactions and sales details.

 

Asking for passcode which is also not working.

 

I've updated the passcode in my account and it's still not working.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with passcodes on your Square Terminal. Are you entering your owner passcode, or a staff member's passcode? Depending on the team permissions assigned to the passcode you're using, you might not be able to access all levels of the app. When you have a moment, sign into your Dashboard and head to Account & Settings > Personal Information. From here, note your Owner Passcode. Next, on your Terminal tap More > Settings > Security. Turn off "Enable Passcodes" by entering the Owner Passcode from your Dashboard. Please let us know how you go!

Sorry to hear about the trouble here @BossBee! Are you also using a Square Terminal, and have you been able to turn off the passcode requirement via the steps above?

Hi Arie,

              No unfortunately it keeps asking for a passcode to go into anything. Passcode is always required. Been trying to get it fixed for just over 12months and now I can't refund anyone there money or use the system. What can I do?

OK thank you. I have tried the Australian contact and they haven't been much help so I figured I would give this a go.. I can't use it or do anything because it wants a passcode for everything and I can't go into any settings to fix it without a passcode.

My passcode won't work and now I can't do anything I have put in the pin and the correct passcode only mine not anyone else and I can't do anything can't issue refund due to this problem been asking for help.
