Hi @Saltmeister,
To clarify, Square hardware is approved for use only in the country where your Square account was activated. This means cross-border card payments are not supported.
If you're traveling internationally and need to process payments, here are a few options to consider:
1. Accept cash and use the Point of Sale app for record-keeping.
2. Send payment links or invoices to international customers, depending on the nature of your business.
Please note that if using the option above, currency will display in AUD.
We understand these methods may only suit certain business types, but they could help in some situations. Alternatively, if you plan on regularly selling internationally, you can create multiple Square accounts, each with its own country selection, but a different email address and different identity verification information are required for each account.
For more information about international availability, check out this guide.

Hi @Saltmeister ,
Welcome to the seller community.
I don't see why this wouldn't work, however keep in mind that you can only transact in one currency.
Regards,
Bruce

Thanks Bruce. It doesn't and I know this because I've tried several times before.

Thanks Laurie. I am not using any hardware. I'm using the phone app to take payments as credit cards are never present at any time.
