Cant publish my site "This domain is already connected to another sq online site"- anyone had this?

Hi there, 

I have made a website through Weebly and bought a domain through GoDaddy, am now at the point of publishing it however it has not worked for over 3 weeks now. The DNS records are correct (valiated both sides) but it seems to be an issue with Weebly, however the customer service there is dire to put it politely. They do not answer quickly and dont answer the questions you have asked, its part human part automated. Its so frustrating. I think the problem is down to this on the site verification where is says: 

"This domain is already connected to another Square Online site. Remove it from that site in order to proceed."

 

Has anyone else had this and found a way to resolve it? I dont have another Square online site.

Sorry to hear about the difficulties you're having with your domain connection.

To clarify, you mentioned that you created your site through Weebly, do you also have a Square account? If so, could you please sign in to your online Square Dashboard and navigate to Sales Channels > Online > Domains and share a screenshot of what appears there?

It’s hard to determine exactly what’s causing the connection issue without taking a look at your DNS settings and account. If you're comfortable doing so, please reply with your Domain URL (e.g., www.example.com), and we can take a closer look.

Also, really sorry to hear that you haven’t had a great experience getting help with this so far. Have you only contacted Weebly's customer service at this stage? If so, I’d definitely reach out to Square Online's phone support team so that they can also investigate with you. The team is available at 1800 760 137, Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM, Melbourne Time.

I’ll keep an eye out for your reply. 🙂
