Why is my balance not reflecting my transaction/sales summary?

A customer made a purchase using a card, the transaction shows up everywhere BUT my balance. This has never happened before and I would like to know where the money went - very frustrating. Have been waiting for customer service to answer, but still on hold. Hopefully someone has an answer for me! thank you!! @
