Site Editor Not Working

I can't get the site editor to load on my website for over 24hrs now (it's currently an unpublished site) it just says loading & doesn't get any further.

I've tried in chrome & internet explorer, I've cleared the cache & cookies but it still won't load. Is this a problem with Weebly in general or something with my site? The night before the problem started I downloaded some free apps from the Weebly store & all was working fine, however the following day I can't access any of my content to edit it.

I fully subscribe to what you said. My problem and attempt to solve were exactly the same. Complained about it to weebly, for 3/4 days worked, and then stopped again. Tried all your solutions. None work. All websites I visit work, except weebly editor.

What have you tried so far, @the_lightning? There's so many factors that can affect access to a site and it's best to run through each one until you can narrow down the issue.

Same here. It doesnt even indicates is loading. Just freezes at the editor initial page.

You can still do changes via app from smart phone.

This is because you are using Internet Explorer 11 as your browser, @TaniaOchi. Microsoft no longer releases updates for that, so you'll have more trouble with it as time passes. If you switch to the newest version of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or FireFox, then it should work great for you.

I am in South Africa and have multiple sites and multiple users - and I cannot get the editor to load  for any profile for Safari or Chrome either. On a MacBook Pro. Help!  I need to get stuff live urgently for at 5 clients.

Sorry to hear that, @kandaf2. Are you using any firewall or security software on your computer?

Hey! I was having a similar issue but was able to solve it. In my case it had to do with a third-party app we were running on our site (in my case FreshDesk's chat functionality). I pulled the code from the head and body of the site, refreshed, and then I was able to edit the site again. So I would double-check any integrations or apps you might have and see if they are creating an issue for any reason!

Same problem here. It works on ipad but I can not edit my site off my tablet. I am currently using IE 11. Cleared browser but still not working. Very frustrating.

Can you switch to the newest version of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or FireFox, @bookworm? Microsoft no longer releases updates for Internet Explorer, so it's going to give you more and more trouble over time.

I give up. Tap out.  OVER IT.  I have tried every flipping thing I can think of, have time for, have patience for.  The criminals, or safety flipping curators of the world win.  I am closing my websites and am done with Weebly.  Clearly, nothing on my computer trusts Weebly.  Clearly I don't have hours and hours to figure this crap out and read through strings of did you do this and did you do that with any success... so over IT!

I am having the same problem. I can get to the page that gives me a choice of Edit Web Site or View Page.

When I click on Edit Web Site nothing happens. When I click on View Page then it takes me to my web site. So half of the function works.

It's Black Friday and I can't edit my web site to print off my orders or to make changes to the inventory levels. This is not acceptable.

My site is www.fifeanddrum-minis.com  (Fife and Drum Miniatures)

It looks like that site was built using Weebly through a third party host, @Cornwallis. Can you contact your host so they can take a look?
